The paper presents two types of Geospatial methods used for mapping health facilities and drug shops in the 15 districts of Uganda. Using the Global Positioning System and Geographical Information system, the coordinates for the health facilities and drug shops of the 15 districts were plotted on maps. The GIS was helpful in displaying the health structural problems in the communities which relies on health data to the district health officials. Geospatial methods helped managers to visualize and understand the patterns and outcomes of service that could have occurred and not biased. Results show that there is significant health improvement in communities that had components of the fully functional service delivery system (FFSDS) standards introduced at facility level though within the district public sector, limited impact was noted. However, with the gradual expansion of private sector services and the involvement of communities; improvements in health indicators is evident.
