North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) in the Fort Worth/Dallas, Texas area, operates a sophisticated public safety enterprise GIS. During this presentation, you will hear tips and ideas based on NCTCOG's experience for in creating and maintaining GIS data for use in a National Emergency Number Association (NENA) i3 NG9-1-1 system. They will discuss developing a methodologies and processes for reporting and improving the accuracy of the GIS data and street centerline and Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) synchronicity, allowing multiple editors to edit locally maintained data using two-way replication of geodata services, and the process of coalescing the local data sets for publication as a regional data set.
