In wake of increasing occurrence of natural calamities, it has become mandatory to make our communities more resilient. The Southern California region has been identified to be a potential target for a major earthquake. Such a calamity can cause lots of harms. The American Red Cross's (ARC) goal is to make the community more resilient and to have basic services working as soon as possible without any external help. In this regard a GIS based web application is proposed which would track the ARC resources, and also provide near real time status updates for the same. There have been various instances where GIS as a system has been used in the field of disaster management. A user friendly, web application is designed to help ARC track its resources during a disaster; this will significantly reduce the response time and hence, increase the work efficiency at ARC.
