New USGS National Map Cache Basemaps: This presentation will provide a review of the new national cache basemaps that USGS has created for The National Map which are availabe to GIS users. The session will include lessons learned in our journey with ESRI to create rich national cache basemaps. The basemaps reviewed will include a new USGS Topo composite shaded relief and an imagery only cache basemap as well as others as they progress and are made avaiable between now and the ESRI User Conference.
