Abstract
Agile Gas Field Development planning with ArcGIS Server 10.1
Track: Pipeline and Gas Utilities

Many modern projects are still operating in a world where 'drawings' are produced in CAD, marked up, discussed and then either immortalized or forgotten. This can give the false impression that the consideration process has been thorough. Tunnel vision is more likely the longer the time needed to visualize an option.
With ArcGIS Server 10.1, ESRI has created a platform that allows for rapid, iterative, case design analysis. The GIS tools available now provide the perfect platform to integrate hard data and lateral thinking for a faster, deeper, and wider options analysis process. The presentation will demonstrate how to use the ArcGIS Server 10.1 tool sets to quickly create offshore Gas Field case designs using ArcGIS 10.1 feature services including:
. Integrating Bathymetry to produce true lengths ;
. Cloning case designs to create new variations quickly;
. Flow assurance;
. Creating a detailed Bill of Materials for cost modelling.
