Track: Disaster and Emergency Management
Authors: Richard Semple, George Strebel
This solution allows authorized users to show that a low-water crossing on a road as closed in case of high water through a simple web interface as a list view with easy-to-use checkboxes. This is joined to a GIS file of low-water crossing locations, and the data is published as an ESRI web service and map with ArcGIS server for use in a variety of applications. Currently, this data is then presented as a map, list, or in WebEOC software used by Emergency Management.
