Space and Naval Warfare Center (SPAWAR) Atlantic is supporting Marine Corps Systems Command to deploy modern emergency response capabilities at Marine Corps installations worldwide. This effort is part of the Consolidated Emergency Response System (CERS) Program to implement Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems with Enhanced 911 (E911) services similar to a civilian Dispatch Center or a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). To support future E911 services SPAWAR is developing digital addressing map data and telecommunications databases at all Continental United States (CONUS) installations. This effort will utilize existing installation data, emergency response information, and base telephone records to develop street address centerline and building address point mapping data along with Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) and Automatic Location Identification (ALI) databases for E911 compliance. This GIS and E911 address data will ensure significant public safety agency support in providing accurate E911 Automatic Number Information (ANI)/ALI, CAD, and emergency response services.
