Transit Accessibility Measures Using Network Analyst

Accessibility measures are oriented towards customer needs and ensure service changes are evaluated based on its impact on riders. This presentation will discuss the development and application of a cutting edge transit service performance measure based on the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. The measure uses ESRI’s network analyst tool to produce origin and destination based accessibility measures.
