City of San Diego Water Transmission Main Condition Assessment

Recently the City performed a Condition Assessment Program for approximately 20 miles of water transmission pipeline. Multiple new inspection technologies (non-destructive) were used to verify the physical condition. Consistent with the Asset Management PAS-55 standards, a Business Risk Evaluation (BRE) used GIS to estimate the Probability and Consequence of Failure scores. This presentation will focus on the project team�s Data Management Plan and tips for automating the Risk Factors in GIS.
