Abstract
Web-based Land Use Economic Development Tool
Track: Economic Development
Authors: Catherine Marshall
The Stafford County Land-Use Economic Development tool (LED) is a flex-based tool that efficiently performs analysis on proposed development projects to determine how much area of a proposed project (single or adjacent parcels) can be developed, taking into account planning factors such as typical road dedication requirements, setback requirements, floor area ratio, parking requirements, and open space requirements. The LED provides exportable reports (with maps) of square footage available.
