Abstract
H&H Modeling – Using GIS to solve fluid problems
Track: Water Resources
Authors: Kyle Morgan, Sheng Tan
Hydraulic and hydrology modeling contains a level of complexity that is often overlooked due to the convoluted and intricate details required. Using GIS as the fundamental and multifaceted “Rosetta Stone”, data interoperability has become the standard for H&H modeling to operate on a daily basis. With what seems like magic, data is confidently and accurately translated between modeling platforms on the back-end and various computing interfaces on the front-end.
