LiDAR-Derived Hydrography - Iterative 2D and 3D Surface Improvements

Many environmental and ecological applications depend on accurate hydrographic mapping products. National datasets - such as NHD - meet the precision needs of many applications, but contain inaccuracies at the local scale. This presentation details a toolbox implementation of an algorithm that refines hydrographic line work based on co-occurring point-cloud data, such as those obtained by a airborne LiDAR collection.
