By law a voter must vote where they live, integrating GIS into the electorate process increases spatial integrity and quality, insuring better compliance with the law and decreases frustration at the polls. GIS during redistricting of multiple political jurisdictions provided for an efficient and accurate transfer of voter information, decreases time, money and resources. GIS identified voters residing differently from where they are registered via zoning analysis identifying voter fraud.
