Take “Learner A”, a member of “Generation Y” schooled and taught with a particular emphasis on the inclusion of their indigenous culture.
Then, there’s “Learner B”, a member of “Generation X”, brought up in an era where programs to study and learn their indigenous culture were not readily available.
Now provide them both with the opportunity to learn GIS.
In an entertaining talk, let mentor and learners discuss, question and promote why GIS learning is so important to indigenous people.
