Quebec City’s managers required the implementation of a seamless link between their sewer management software and their GIS, eliminating the duplication of updates and allowing the diffusion of sewer condition. The adaptation of descriptive information to comply with NASSCO assessment standard was performed before creating the bi-directional link. Successful implementation and revision of their internal process met the different needs of GIS, IT, Engineering, Public Works and CIP divisions.
