The gas distribution integrity rule under PHMSA 49 CFR Part 192 � Subpart P (DIMP) was imposed in 2011. In many cases, Gas distribution companies took a very basic or stop-gap approach to addressing this ruling. Fast-forward to 2014 and now the community is working to address critical challenges identified over the last three years in fully addressing DIMP to reach federal compliance.
