Effective wildlife conservation requires knowing where species are and how they�re doing. State natural heritage programs collect and manage detailed data on the location and condition of at-risk species and threatened ecosystems in a sophisticated geospatial database known as Biotics. Learn how states collaborated with NatureServe to upgrade Biotics from an outdated ArcView 3 desktop system to a hosted web application using ArcGIS for Server.
