Virtual Canvassing: In-Office Address Validation for the 2020 Census

Before each census, the Census Bureau conducts address canvassing to assure an accurate address list. For the 2020 census, the Census Bureau plans to implement in-office methodologies to validate the accuracy and completeness of the address list for most of the housing units in the nation. In this presentation, I report on the sources and methods under consideration for use in validating the completeness of information in the Census Bureau's address list.
