The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is implementing Esri’s Roads & Highways (R&H) to maintain its’ Enterprise LRS of approximately 104,000 road miles (80,000 system, 24,000 non-system roads). Project tasks include: R&H implementation, legacy systems integration, business processes re-engineering, and distributed maintenance using Esri’s Roadway Characteristics Editor (RCE). This presentation will provide key success factors and lessons learned for R&H adopters.
