Texas working lands are under increasing land conversion pressure driven by rapid population growth and rural development. Texas Land Trends describes the status and recent changes in land use, ownership size, and land value of these working lands. This GIS and comprehensive dataset informs private and public decision-makers about the status and trends of the state’s private land, over space and time, and addresses key Texas natural resource issues through the power of a “good map.”
