Benefits of GIS for Enterprise Asset Management in a Mulit-modal Port

This paper will present the overall benefits of utilizing GIS as an integral part of an enterprise asset management strategy in the Port Authority of NY and NJ. The paper will cover applications specific to aviation, marine, bridge, tunnel, bus terminal, and rail. In addition, the paper will address the value of GIS in complying with risk based maintenance practices and the value of ModelBuilder to automate tasks.
