Spatial Analysis on the Environmental Justice in Los Angeles County

Environmental Justice includes the concept of fair access to a healthy environment, without disproportionate negative environmental impacts. Applying spatial analysis on environmental quality data, this paper identifies environmentally vulnerable communities and analyzes their social, physical conditions. By comparing the conditions of communities with and without environmental vulnerability, this paper confirms unique conditions of the environmentally vulnerable communities.
