MPR, under contract with SC MMIS, routinely uses Esri GIS tools and methods (e.g. network analysis, E2SFCA, and hot spots) to inform health services policy and programming aimed at improved population health, greater access to health care, and health care cost containment. This presentation focuses on MPR’s GIS solutions across such interrelated program areas as chronic disease management, access to primary care, behavioral health needs assessment, and health care resource allocation.
