Application of Geospatial Technologies in Animal Welfare

We performed an online comprehensive search of the activities and research involving the use of geospatial technologies in animal welfare, and summarized the results in a website. We learned about the areas where further research efforts are needed, the main players, and their locations. The goal of this project was to examine possible topics for collaboration with other departments on campus. For example, we can attach GPS receivers and sensors to the cows on campus to monitor their health.
