Towards a better understanding of dynamic interaction: a null model ap

‘Dynamic interaction’ between two animal individuals occurs within a spatio-temporal threshold and can provide important information about spatial ecology, particularly in the context of epizootic disease transmission and mating and territorial behaviors. This research uses a null model approach to compare observed (empirical) dynamic interaction values with distributions of expected values generated by different null models. The case study focuses on brown hyenas in northern Botswana.
