DoD recently issued a new policy to formally establish the Installation Geospatial Information and Services (IGI&S) capability, applicable across all DoD installations, environment, and civil works mission areas. This presentation will outline the IGI&S functions assigned to the military departments, define the Common Installation Picture (CIP), and clarify the relationships between the DoD IGI&S community and NGA.
