U.S. National Arboretum Botanical Explorer App

With over 440 acres of living plant collections and a massive collection of plant records, the U.S. National Arboretum can be an overwhelming place for visitors and researchers alike. To solve this problem, USNA partnered with Blue Raster to create the Arboretum Botanical Explorer, a custom web mapping application that enables users to access and display images and information from the Arboretum’s botanical collection. A visitor’s mobile application is also currently under development.
