Managing Urban BMP Inventory Data with GIS and ArcHydro

In support of Virginia’s urban BMP inventory grant, urban BMPs for 8 different Virginia localities where compiled, reviewed, and converted from GIS to a format that meets Virginia BMP data reporting requirements. To ensure the format of the BMP data, a GIS file geodatabase design was created to ensure BMP regulatory rules were met using required domains and subtypes. To support accurate reporting of the drainage area treated by each BMP ArcHydro was utilized to delineate all BMP drainage areas.
