Abstract
Post-Flood Rainfall Analysis to Evaluate Storm Intensity, Boulder, CO
Track: Disaster and Emergency Management

Following record-breaking rainfall in September 2013, engineers recognized a highly-variable rainfall-runoff response across major drainageways in the City. Working for the City and UDFCD, WWE used rasterized rainfall data to assign rainfall return periods. This analysis allowed the City to understand how temporal and spatial variability in rainfall affected flooding.
