GIS Will Save the World, but:: Is Your Data Ready for NG9-1-1?

NENA has developed standards for nearly every aspect of the data that supports NG9-1-1. The NENA standards have fallen short regarding the “how,” specifically the strategies and methods PSAPs and other public safety entities should use in order to maintain the level of accuracy and currency necessary to meet these exacting standards. This presentation intends to answer the question of “how” by introducing a new way of thinking about data aggregation and sharing.
