City Engine Models and Applications for the City of Tomorrow

Within the framework of the “City of Tomorrow: City Insights Innovation Network' facilitated by the Fraunhofer-Society, PSU and ESRI Germany are developing together with the city of Cologne a 3D model of the District of Mülheim South. Using environment, transport, real estate and city planning data, this 3D GIS model shall allow the visualization and assessment of not only the district status quo but also future scenarios of sustainable and innovative development
