A responsibility of local government is to provide a safe and accessible community for its citizens. Sidewalks in urban areas provide a mode of transportation and are an asset. As with any asset, an inventory and a maintenance plan is required. Bloomfield, NJ recognized the importance of its sidewalks and conducted an assessment and inventory. This presentation will demonstrate how the Township is supporting its mission to provided safe sidewalks through implementing the ArcGIS Platform.
