Network monitoring land cover in southeast Mexico

Monitoring the land cover is an important topic because its implications in the sustainability, hazards, biodiversity conservation and environmental services. Therefore, Conabio is implementing a long-term monitoring network for the analysis of the spatial and temporal changes in the landscape based on the use of GIS techniques, Remote Sensing, local mapping with the support of the organizations in the concerned areas, and field work.
