Hydraulic Analysis Modeling Efficiency of One & Two-Zone Water Systems

The City of Downey (COD), CA may benefit from transitioning its current municipal water system, which uses a single pressure zone, to a system with two pressure zones. To evaluate this proposal, this project models the current one-zone system in ArcGIS. The project then modifies the model to analyze the benefit of a second pressure zone using hydraulic simulations. Results allow the COD to make a geospatially informed decision regarding the cost and benefits of converting this system.
