Mapping One-Million Community Health Workers

Community health workers (CHWs) are often the only link to health care for millions of people living in rural poverty worldwide, and a vital element of efforts to meet the Millennium Development Goal targets for health. Direct Relief and the One-Million Community Health Workers Campaign have built a set of web-based mapping applications known as the “CHW Operations Room” that provide the first glimpses into the global landscape of CHW operations.
