In the Geospatial technology field, there is a symbiotic relationship between industry and academia. This presentation will examine the relationship formed between Western Land Services and a Geospatial professor at California University of Pennsylvania (Cal U) in order to create a new oil and gas specific GIS course. It will focus on particular discussions and curriculum issues found during this process, including the sharing of materials.
