Pipeline Management and Rights of Way in the Dutch Ministry of Defense

The Dutch Ministry of Defence operates pipelines for kerosene transportation to airfields. ArcGIS (Desktop, Server and Portal) and GEONIS have been chosen as the foundation for new Pipeline Management System. The system incorporates other COTS software. One of the goals is integration of Asset Management and managing the Rights of Way. The new PMS contains workflows to handle survey data and notifications about incidents. The project was procured using the Best Value Procurement Methodology.
