Web GIS solutions in a secured environment using Portal for ArcGIS

ArcGIS Online has become a main platform for many entities to create Web based GIS solutions for the general public. However, this open approach to information sharing is not necessarily a feasible solution for everyone. In this presentation we discuss the implementation of web based GIS solutions at the Seminole Tribe of Florida utilizing Portal for ArcGIS in a secured server environment. Some of the final solutions, strategies and challenges will be discussed in the realm of this presentation.
