Through applying GIS and statistical methods, public health professionals are able to understand the prevalence and distribution of diseases, as well as the association of related factors. The project utilized GIS to understand the spatial distribution through multiple thematic maps and utilized spatial and statistical analyses to better understand the association of related factors. It is vital to understand the association of related factors in understanding diseases, as well as prevention.
