The interaction of precipitation and surface runoff is the basis for any hydrology and hydraulic watershed study. The NOAA NEXRAD and the US Geological Survey provide precipitation and stream flow data at the catchment of the watersheds, respectively. The application allows seeing the precipitation and the stream flow exceedance at the same time. It also calculates total precipitation on a watershed and compares the results with surface runoff amounts. The results help building H & H models.
