NEMAP - Navy Emergency Management Addressing Project

In less than 2 years,NEMAP has fundamentally evolved the US Navy's ability to respond to emergencies by creating repeatable & scalable processes.As a result,E911 industry standards have been established across the Navy enterprise.A key component in achieving this feat was in the participation of local governments during the addressing & street ranging process.Engaging multiple stakeholders introduced a variety of challenges,but also highlighted that GIS can unite the Navy and Local Governments.
