Municipal Urban Information System of Rio de Janeiro

Pereira Passos Institute, municipal department of Rio de Janeiro responsible for its GIS system, has recently established the Municipal Urban Information System. Using ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Online, it performs the production and integration of data from several sources, in partnership with other departments. This solution brings innovation in the municipal administration, providing a corporative database with information for efficient planning, implementing and monitoring of public policies.
