Mapping Houston's Automotive Recovery

GIS is revolutionizing the automotive repossession industry, which is moving towards using License Plate Recognition. This project addresses a repossession company’s desire to route their LPR vehicle in Houston more strategically. Temporal kernel densities of repossession data will be compared to population data to predict locations with the highest concentration of debtors. The final web application will suggest locations to scan based on the time of day in order to increase recoveries.
