Expanding NASA Data Access and Analysis Capabilities

The NASA Langley Research Center made available the Surface meteorology and Solar Energy data via ArcGIS web applications and services. ArcGIS helped generate and store climatological averages in an ArcGIS file geodatabase as well as a series of multidimensional mosaic datasets opening direct access to thousands of science data files. This resulted in greater accessibility to a large suite of data parameters produced from science projects within the renewable energy and agricultural communities.
