Abstract
During an emergency situation such as a water main break, we can use water utility network tracing to answer which valves should be turned off to isolate the break and which customers will be affected during the repair process. A Geometric network is used to model flow in a linear network that can be used for network analysis such as isolation tracing. This paper describes how a geometric network for the water distribution system for northern Fulton County, Georgia was built.
