The New Age for Smarter Capital Improvement Planning

This presentation concentrates on how American Water is using off-the-shelf ArcGIS-integrated applications that integrate with their existing workflows to develop a comprehensive capital planning tool. Techniques and tips will be presented along with an example demonstrating how to perform a risk assessment and develop a rehabilitation plan for a real water system. Their innovative use of ArcGIS Online to present and share their capital planning results will also be showcased.
