Integrating and Analyzing Prescribed Burn Data with ArcGIS

ArcGIS is well suited to integration of the diverse and various data products collected during a prescribed research burn. This presentation will demonstrate the use of ArcGIS and the Feature Analyst Extension for integrating and deriving data from a set of prescribed burns in Camp Swift, Texas. This data is then transferred to empirical and physics based fire models for further analysis. The benefits and necessity of using GIS for this type of integration and analysis will be described.
