The National Hydrography Dataset Plus High Resolution (NHDPlus HiRes)

The U.S. Geological Survey has begun work to create a National Hydrography Dataset Plus High Resolution (NHDPlus HiRes) using the High Resolution (1:24,000-scale or better) National Hydrography Dataset (NHD), the 10-meter resolution National Elevation Dataset (NED), and the Watershed Boundaries Dataset (WBD). The NHDPlus HiRes will form a single scalable hydrologic frame of reference which can be generalized from the most detailed level to several different scales.
