Bridging Departments with ArcGIS for City Storm Water Billing

With access to multiple data sources, GIS professionals can deliver powerful analytics to decision-makers. Utilizing ArcSDE and ArcGIS, San Antonio Water System developed a method to combine county appraisal district parcels with otherwise incompatible asset management data for city storm water billing. This presentation will show how SAWS overcame barriers to cross-department data sharing with the ArcGIS Data Interoperability Extension, powered by FME, and improved billing for customers.
