Abstract
Cleaner Air, Cleaner Bay - An Environmental Success Story Map
Track: Conservation
Authors: John Wolf
The Chesapeake Bay restoration effort has directly benefited from regulations enacted as part of the Clean Air Act. Actions resulting from these regulations have led to significant reductions in one of the major sources of pollution impacting the Chesapeake – nitrogen from atmospheric sources.
USGS geographers have collaborated with Environmental Protection Agency staff and ESRI to develop a map journal story map to tell this environmental success story.
